The only shortcut for faster gain is through bulking. Eat a lot of food while lifting heavy weight everyday. You gain muscle faster, but you also gain a lot of fat.
The muscle you gain is still hidden beneath the fat.
Then, you need to cut to your normal weight and that's it.
