I don't know who needs to hear this but there is no exercise that is going to help you lose belly fat. Targeted weight loss is not a thing. To lose belly fat you need to lose weight from all areas of your body.

If your argument for cycling is weight loss, you're no better than someone selling diet supplements to people made vulnerable by a society which shames you for things you can't change about yourself .
Go look in a mirror and ask yourself what exactly it is you're trying to say.

Nutrition is simple.
Want to LOSE weight? Eat BELOW maintenance, but not by too much.
Want to GAIN weight? Eat ABOVE maintenance, but not by too much.
The confusing part is changing your diet every week, not leaving enough time to see results.
P.s. try eat some greens also😬

She’s doing the classic over-restrictive and then binge diet.
I swear, balanced diet and counting calories is what works for most people. Even if you eat bad that day, just don’t go over your calories and you won’t gain.

9. And can please stop thinking that someone is working out solely to lose weight??? ASK PEOPLE WHAT THEIR GOALS ARE instead of assuming. Not everyone’s goals are the same. Some want to lose weight. Some want to be built. Some want to keep up with their grandchildren. Etc.

What is there about being overweight that makes people at more risk of dying when they catch COVID? If everybody in this high risk group lost say, 50 pounds, would they be safer? Should the health authorities be urging us to lose weight to mitigate virus risk? Why aren't they?

i wanna diee. i just saw my gastroenterologist and he was asking if i’ve experienced any weight loss so i told him i did (76 lbs) and he went WHAAAT? now was this due to ibs or intentional weight loss 😭 and then i tried to explain to him and he went oh ok some eating disorder 😭
